Family Reading Night was held on Thursday, February 27. All of the activities revolved around our One Book One School novel “Wishtree” by Katherine Applegate. Earlier in the day, the book was revealed to the students during an assembly and each family received a copy for their family to read over the next few weeks. During Family Reading Night, multiple stations were available for students to choose from including hearing about acts of kindness from police officers from Villa Park and Lombard, learning how a nurse from the Brookfield Zoo helps to take care of the animals and listening to a guest from Outreach House about the food drive the school will be participating in.
