Despite a day off for the cold two days earlier, Westmore fourth and fifth graders were ready to warm the hearts of the audience with their first band concert of the year on January 18th. The students joined others students from around the district to perform under the direction of band director Joe Koppel at Jackson Middle School. Anna Ticaric, 4th grader at Westmore, says she loves performing because, “It’s a good way to make new friends, have fun, and extress yourself through music.”
